1 - Disembodied Voice captured on Audio Recorders
3 - EVP’s
1 - Video Documentation Temperature Anomaly
This is an old building in Kingfisher that is currently being renovated.
We began by drawing a floor plan of the approximately 7,000 square foot building which has just recently been constructed into several rooms. We conducted our sweeps and recorded temperature, humidity, and EMF baselines in each of the separate rooms. Most of the rooms yielded no remarkable data, but we did experience a few odd occurrences during our sweeps.
-
•One area of the building has a hallways with 6 small rooms off of it. Tommy was at the end of the hallway. Mark was in the middle of the hallway. Janice was just outside the door of the hallway standing in the kitchen area. Tammy was farther from Janice in the kitchen area. Bobbie was toward the front of the building. Mark, Janice and Tammy heard an audible male voice thatsaid “Hello.” Mark asked if anyone said “Hello”, to which we all replied that no we had not. Tommy remarked that he didn’t hear any voice say “Hello.” Oddly enough, the voice is recorded the clearest on Tommy and Mark’s recorders, as they both seemed to be closest to where the voice originated from. It is faintly heard on Janice and Tammy’s recorders. And even Bobbie, at the front of the building has it faintly on her recorder. This would be considered a Disembodied Voice since we heard it audibly, in addition to having it recorded. However, it is very unusual that Tommy did not hear it. •Later during the sweeps we moved into a room that is being constructed as a Ladies Bathroom. First, Mark reported an EMF spike that seemed to move. As he was following the constantly moving EMF field, Bobbie had activation on the K-II meter. While this was occurring, Tammy reported a very cold breeze that rushed past her - which was also experienced by Janice. Tommy was unable to register a temperature drop with the ambientthermometer, but noted an unusual drop in humidity within this room. The humidity throughout the entire building had consistently been at 48.5% Relative Humidity. In this room, during the time the activity was occurring, the humidity dropped to 40%. Bobbie and Tommy both reported that it felt like something lightly brushed across the top of their head, touching their hair. Janice reported that her legs were cold and that she felt a coldness brush across her neck. We tried to rule out all logical reasons for the activity and were unable to.

•On our follow-up investigation two weeks later, we captured three great EVP’s. One of them is of what sounds like an old-timey radio broadcast that you’ll definitely want to hear for yourself. We also were able to document with video the atmospheric changes we experienced in the first investigation - this time it was a significant temperature increase. All evidence can be viewed HERE.
HISTORY
Due to privacy considerations, we are limiting the amount of historical evidence we have gathered for this property.
1894 the lot as it stands today had 4 separate store-front buildings; Marble company, Undertaker, Confectionary, Meat market.
1895 the previous Marble company and Undertaker buildings are shown as vacant. The Confectionary became a Restaurant and the Meat market is still there.
1898 A Jewelry store and Barber shop are in the areas that were previously vacant. The part where the Restaurant and Meat Market is completely empty and we are not sure if there was a fire or if it was demolished.
1901 The Jewelry store is still there and the Barber shop is now a Dry Goods Store. The empty part has been built into a Confectionary store and Cigar store.
1904 The Jewelry store is still there and the Dry Goods store is a Barber shop again. The Confectionary store and cigar store have been joined into one large building and is now a Saloon.
1909 The Jewelry store is vacant and the Barber shop is still there. The Saloon has become a Pool Room.
1915 The Jewelry store is now a Meat Market and the Barber shop is still there. The Pool Room is now a Millinery which sells hats and clothing.
1926 The individual buildings which housed separate businesses has been demolished and the present-day building was constructed this year. It spans two business lots and the middle of the building is supported by a row of iron columns where a wall once stood.
We combed various archives and historical databases to learn about the lives of people who had close ties to this business property. The only death we could find of a person closely associated with this building was the passing of the owner who built the present day structure in 1926. He died in 1939 at the age of 59.
