Evidence Obtained:
1 - Anecdotal Experience
This property is a former duplex that had been converted to a single family home. The current owner is renovating the home to use as rental property and we were asked to investigate it.
We did not notice any unusual data during our initial sweeps to record surface temperature, ambient temperature, humidity and EMF readings. Our second sweeps had marked changes to temperature and humidity, but a storm and cold front had moved through during our investigation which caused the difference.

We focused our initial investigation in the hallway and dining room area as Bobbie reported feeling a dizzy sensation in that area.
The following anecdotal experience occurred:
-
•While in the dining room, Bobbie reported smelling an odd smell that smelled of corn-nuts or Fritos. No one else smelled it. However, about 15 minutes later, Tammy reported smelling coffee - also confirmed by Mark and Tommy. Upon discussing, we determined it wasn’t quite coffee - but an odd smell. None of us were able to determine exactly what it was we were smelling and we couldn’t figure our where the smell was coming from as all the windows were closed, there were no leftover food items in the house and it had been vacant for quite some time.

We did not experience anything else during our investigation, nor did we yield any documentable evidence on video, audio, or photographs.
HISTORY
(To protect the privacy of our client, we are not revealing the last names of the more recent property research.)
1928 Everett and Edna H. were the first owners of this property when it was a duplex and they used it as rental property.
1939 They sold it to the bank, it was not foreclosed on.
1940 The bank sold it to Mamie D. who lived here for a number of years. She lived in one side of the duplex and rented out the other.
1971 Mamie D. passes away and the property is put in the name of her executor who then sells it to Joseph and Bertherine H. We believe it is this couple who converted it into a single family home. Bertherine passes away in 1980 and Joseph remarries a woman named Lillie in 1982. Joseph passes away in 2000 and Lillie remains in the home.
2005 Lillie sold it to Tobey S.
2008 The property goes into foreclosure and is purchased by the present owners who are remodeling it for the purpose of rental property.
