This property is a small single-family home that is currently being renovated for use as rental property.
We had just finished setting up equipment and IR cameras when Bobbie finished her walk-through and informed us that we needed to set up a camera in the kitchen. We did not have a camera in the kitchen as we were using that room to place all of our equipment and monitors. However, Bobbie stated that she felt strong energy in the kitchen and she felt that room would be the most active. We had a K-II meter set on a pony-wall and right after Bobbie commented on possible activity in the kitchen, the K-II meter lit up all 5 lights - it pulsed several times to all 5 lights. Mark quickly grabbed another K-II meter and set it within close proximity of the first one and just a few moments later - both K-II meters pulsed a few times to all 5 lights.
Bobbie took Tammy aside after the initial K-II activation and told her that one of the things she was sensing in the kitchen was physical abuse. She had an impression of a man slapping a woman hard enough to knock her into the cabinets in the kitchen. Bobbie continued that the emotions she was sensing was regret, anger, guilt and a chaotic life. She felt this was a masculine energy and a very strong one. Bobbie kept saying that this man had watched TAPS and she strongly felt that he knew exactly what we were doing. While we don’t use Bobbie’s gifts as conclusive evidence, we do use it to guide us during an investigation and usually she is right on the money.

To explain how unusual this is, in the last year that we’ve been doing investigations we HAVE NEVER encountered this much EMF activity. And although we have had one other time that it lit all the way up to 5 lights that we weren’t able to track down to an electrical source, again, we have never had it light up to red as many times as it did in this location.

Investigation Results:

-
•We began an EVP session in the back bedroom where we had the K-II activation during sweeps. Prior to getting started, Tammy was giving instruction to new team members, Yvette and Ann to call out any noises they may make during the investigation for audio purposes. This is our only EVP we captured at this location.
(Yvette and Ann were farther away from Tammy and we ruled that it could not have been either of them talking.)
Tammy: “Yeah... but to call out like if you shift, or you burp, or ummm....”
EVP: “Fist”
Tammy: “... and actually, Yvette, you’re probably going to want to sit...”
At first this EVP seems a little odd... why would a spirit communicate the word “FIST?” If it is who we think it is, it makes more sense.
-
•During the EVP session in the back bedroom, Tammy was asking a series of questions and trying to open communication with any spirits present. Tammy felt a cool draft behind her, however, the ceiling was exposed into the roof in the closet behind her and it is possible that a cool draft came from that area. However, using the ambient temperature probe we discovered a temperature spike of 84º right in front of Yvette, almost on top of her lap. She was sitting about 10 feet away from Tammy against the open doorway and the ambient temperature in the room was 69º elsewhere. We could not determine a source for this hot spot and it slowly dissipated within a few minutes.

-
•We decided to break up into smaller groups and began with Tammy, Yvette and Felicia in the kitchen for an EVP session. Interestingly, we did not have any K-II activation during our session in the kitchen. However, Yvette reported that she felt as if something was pushing her. She braced herself by standing with feet spread, shoulder wide and held onto a nearby cabinet and still moved forward as if pushed by an unseen force. Although this is anecdotal only, information we discovered during research made this incident more intriguing.
-
•Bobbie and Mark were the next ones to go into the kitchen for an EVP session. Although no one reported feeling as if they were pushed, they did have remarkable K-II activation. Mark, an electrician, was unable to locate any existing electrical source that would cause the high K-II activations we were getting. Watch this amazing video - it’s the longest and strongest K-Ii activation we have ever gotten during an investigation.
-
•During another EVP session in the kitchen there were Bobbie, Tammy and Mark present. We had just began the session when Bobbie was overcome with an extremely sick feeling. She sat down in the floor and said she was extremely dizzy, dopey feeling. Not drunk, but dopey. Tammy asked her if she felt high and Bobbie replied that she had never been high, but yeah, it would be something like that she supposed. She couldn’t shake the feeling and began to get nauseous. At this time, she pressed hard against the wall, grabbed her stomach and said she needed to get out of there. Mark helped her up and Tammy took her outside to get some fresh air. Sitting on the porch Bobbie explained that when she grabbed her stomach she thought “gut shot” but wasn’t sure why she was feeling that, although that was the first thing that came to mind when she felt a strong pain in her abdomen. What Bobbie experienced made more sense when we did our research.

History and Research:

1950 The house was built and bought by Leonard R.
1953 He sold the house to Thomas R.
1956 He sold the house to George Y.
1957 He sold the house to Johnnie H., a widow.
1962 She sold the house to Bertha B. who used it as rental property.
1978 She sold the home to William B., whose parents rented this home and resided in it since 1962.
1983 He sold it to Tony T. who lost the house to the V.A. Administration in 1989.
1989 - 1992 the house sat empty.
1992 The house was bought by Jimmy M. who deeds it back to the previous owner William B., who then deeds it to Daisy K.
2004 The house was sold to Mark P. who purchased this home for his son, Tony. P
2009 The house was bought by the current owner.
The current owner had not shared with us what he knew about the previous owner until after our investigation. He then told us that Mark P. purchased the house for his son, Tony P., as a fixer-upper and he was not sure if Tony P. lived in it or not. Tragically, Tony P. was murdered in 2007 and his father kept the house and rented it until he sold it in 2009.
With more thorough research into Tony P’s background we discovered that he was a convicted felon with a lengthy history of drug use and domestic violence. The women who filed victim protection orders against him were petite strawberry blondes, very similar to Yvette who felt as if she had been pushed in the kitchen.
Tony P. was only 28 when he died and it appears that he came from an upper middle class family and his troubles began when he started using drugs. Tony was shot to death at an Oklahoma City park with a female acquaintance who was also a known drug abuser. We do not know if he was shot in the stomach, but the murder did occur at 3:45 a.m. and it is a safe assumption that he was high at the time of death. We will attempt to confirm the facts regarding his death. The two men accused of his murder were captured and are currently held in the Oklahoma City jail awaiting a jury trial.
We can not conclusively say that the spirit of Tony P. is indeed haunting his former home, but this is the only death we found associated with this house and it seems to fit. We do know that it is a strong energy that we encountered and a young man who died in the prime of his life could very well be a strong energy in death.
Bobbie strongly feels that it is Tony P’s spirit we encountered based on the many impressions she received during the investigation. She feels he is filled with remorse and regret and she seems to think he is replaying events from his life over and over, perhaps trying to come to terms with some of the things he has done. If so - the EVP of the word “FIST”, Yvette getting pushed, Bobbie feeling sick, dopey and shot in the gut, the unusually high K-II energy, and even the temperature hot spot hovering around Yvette just might make sense.
While we were investigating, one of the neighbor’s came over and talked to us and he told us that several people in the neighborhood referred to this house as “the haunted house.” He said many people had moved in and out of it, not staying for long in the last couple of years. He lived next door to this house and said his dog is always growling at the house, staring at it with his hackles up when there is no one in the house at all. One day his dog dug underneath the fence and when he found him, he was in the backyard of this house. He said his dog wasn’t sniffing around or checking anything out like dogs usually do, he said he was just sitting down, focused on the back of the house and growling. Dogs are believed to be much more sensitive than humans and can possibly sense or see more things in the spirit world than we can.
All in all, one of the more interesting cases we have been on in a while.
Follow-Up Investigation:

This is a house that Mark, an electrician, is working on with the owner and he spent the following day there doing electrical work. Mark disconnected existing electrical connections and wired in a brand new breaker. He had his K-II meter with him just to see if additional activation would occur and it did when he and the homeowner were discussing the previous nights’ activity. He said, as an electrician, there is absolutely no reason why the K-II should be lighting up. We decided to return that evening for a brief investigation to see if we could obtain more evidence.
Absolutely nothing happened. Nothing. Not a K-II activation, no EVP’s, no temperature anomalies, not even anything anecdotal.
What this does is confirm that the activity that occurred during the first night’s investigation is most likely paranormal. If the K-II activation was caused from a logical source - like static from a neighbor, or from the neighborhood lines - it would have continued to do so during the second investigation.
In addition, Bobbie and Tammy spent the entire day doing research on the house and previous occupants and came up with some surprising information that seemed to fit what we had gotten. We used this information during our EVP session to hopefully connect with the spirit and prior to the investigation Bobbie had commented that she didn’t think it would work. She felt like this entity didn’t want us to know about his dirty laundry and that he wouldn’t be playing with us anymore. Perhaps she was right, because absolutely nothing happened.
